Ten years of sustainable palm oil supply from Hamburg refineries
Olenex achieves historic milestone;
Olenex celebrates the arrival of the first vessel with RSPO SG certified palm oil to our Hamburg refineries, 10 years ago. On 16 January 2011, the tanker ‘Amagi Galaxy‘ arrived in Hamburg, loaded with 1052 mt of segregated crude palm oil, supplied by SIPEF. Until today, we continue to source RSPO certified palm oil from SIPEF’s plantations in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
While we started with just one certified product – refined palm oil –, we quickly expanded certification to more products. Today, our entire product range is available as RSPO certified.
