Ecovadis awards Olenex with Gold Award
Olenex ranks in the top 5% of most sustainable food companies in the world.
The Ecovadis gold award is no stranger to Olenex. By sustainably producing edible oils and fats, the golden ranking has been awarded in 2017, 2019, and 2020. For a company to reach the golden status, it needs to rank in the top 5% in the Ecovadis listing.
The assessments test companies on their sustainability performance and achievements. When the final scores are published by Ecovadis, the industry can use them to verify the producer’s commitment to a responsible production regime.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 75,000 rated companies. The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology is at the heart of Ratings and Scorecards and is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into their business and management system.

The methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, covering 200 spend categories and 160+ countries. The Sustainability Scorecard illustrates performance across 21 indicators in four themes:
