Wilmar debuts on Dow Jones Sustainability Indices
Wilmar International, one of Olenex’s parent companies, has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World Index under the Asia Pacific Index for the Food, Beverage and Tobacco industry grouping on Monday (Nov 16). This builds on the inclusion in the DJSI Asia Pacific Index in 2020.
The group achieved 61 points versus the average score of 30 points in the same category. It also scored above the 90 percentile for indicators related to raw material sourcing, human rights, labour practices, strategies for emerging markets, customer relationship management as well as risk and crisis management.
The Olenex team is honoured by this recognition, which is affirmation that we are progressing on the right track in our sustainability journey, as we strive to create positive value and impact through our business.
