Olenex is offering a wide range of products complying with international certification standards. We offer those in both our Liquid oils and Tropical oils portfolio.
RSPO
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) has developed a set of environmental and social criteria which companies must comply with in order to produce and process Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO). When properly applied, these criteria minimize the negative impact of palm oil cultivation on the environment and communities in palm oil-producing regions.
Across the 29 requirements encompassing various thematic areas, Olenex is actively contributing to the implementation of RSPO’s Shared Responsibility requirements.
Olenex supplies certified palm oil product from two RSPO supply chain models;
SEGREGATED (SG)
Throughout the supply chain, certified palm oil is kept separate from traditional palm oil.
MASS BALANCE (MB)
In this supply chain, certified palm oil is mixed with traditional palm oil.

In accordance with the RSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard 2020, section 5.6.1, all RSPO products sold by Olenex are delivered with the Olenex RSPO certificate number. This includes products dispatched from ADM locations.
ISCC
The International Sustainability & Carbon Certification system ensures sustainable agricultural practices, commitment to no deforestation, and tracking of greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire supply chain. The ISCC certificate is obtained by producing raw materials free from deforestation, sustainable, and with respect for human rights and honest trade. The ISCC certificate applies to palm, sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean oil.
The ISCC system complies with the following industry standards;
- SAI Platform (Sustainable Agriculture Initiative)
- Sustainable Soy Sourcing Guidelines by the Consumer goods Forum (CGF)
- FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines
- Renewable Energy Directive (RED)

ADM RESPONSIBLE SOYBEAN STANDARD
The ADM Responsible Soybean Standard can be applied to all soybean products including the food and feed market. The standard has been recognised by the European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) as meeting FEFAC’s Soy Sourcing Guidelines, a customised benchmarking system for responsible soy programmes.

U.S. SOYBEAN SUSTAINABILITY ASSURANCE PROTOCOL
The U.S. Soybean Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP) is a certified aggregate approach, audited by third parties, that demonstrates sustainable soybean production at a national scale. The U.S. approach is quantifiable and results-driven with mass balance international certification available.

RED TRACTOR & LEAF MARQUE
In the UK, Olenex is able to offer rape oil certified according to the Red Tractor and/or LEAF Marque scheme on demand.
Red Tractor is the largest food scheme in the UK, covering relevant aspects of the product life cycle. The logo indicates that food is safe to eat and has been produced responsibly – from farm to fork.
LEAF Marque is a global environmental assurance system recognising more sustainably farmed products. The LEAF Marque standard can be applied on top of Red Tractor, linking Environment with Farming.
